L’enquête européenne sur les revenus et les conditions de vie (EU-SILC) constitue une source de données unique en raison de sa couverture géographique (32 pays), de la diversité des variables socio-économiques couverte et de la possibilité d’apparier les informations des différents membres du ménage. L’enquête EU-SILC n'est pas spécifiquement conçue pour étudier les thématiques démographiques, mais elle est de plus en plus utilisée par des chercheurs dans le but de mener des analyses démographiques. Cette conférence vise à présenter les possibilités d’EU-SILC pour étudier la fécondité, la mise en union et d'autres thématiques touchant à la population. La première partie de la conférence sera consacrée à la présentation des données. Dans la seconde partie, des chercheuses et chercheurs de différents pays (Europe, États-Unis) présenteront des recherches basées sur EU-SILC.
