The BDSP, a French cooperation network established on the initiative of the Direction générale de la santé, provides information on the health status of populations, living conditions and the environment, health institutions and policies, social welfare, medical sociology, ethics and bioethics. HAL (Hyper Articles online), is a multi-disciplinary open access archive. This publicly sponsored infrastructure facilitates the posting and dissemination of research papers, articles, and PhD theses, originating from French and international research and educational institutions, or from public and private research centers.
