The BJFP is a legal database dedicated to the French civil service. It disseminates official texts pertaining to every possible legal domain (public law, private law, community law), and which concern state civil servants, local government civil servants and those who work in public hospitals. The database currently provides quantitative indicators with demographic, policy, and socioeconomic data for up to 60 countries from Europe, North America, East Asia, and Oceania. In addition, we provide detailed policy information for three demography-relevant fields (family policies, long-term elderly care policies, and naturalisation policies) covering up to six European countries. More countries and fields will be added in the near future.
This database provides an overview of population policies and dynamics for the countries for which data are available at for the 1970s, 1980s, 1990s and for 2009.
