Expatriés Sénat is dedicated to French citizens living abroad. It provides information on expatriation: senators, legislation, procedures, etc. It also categorizes the information by country and provides a list of links for each destination.
The Senate’s website provides access to current developments and to parliamentary proceedings (public sessions, government and parliamentary bills, reports, issues under consideration) on its agenda. The Vie publique portal is geared towards three major types of information: current events (organised by topic, an overview of legislation, citizens’ FAQ); Frames of reference (public policy, presentation of institutions); Resources (access to government reports, speeches and debates). The Comité National Consultatif d’Ethique (CCNE)’s primary mission is to produce and publish announcements and reports. The State and public institutions can refer matters to the CCNE or the CCNE can take up matters on its own initiative.
