Open to all INED researchers, research
technicians, and doctoral students, this
group’s main objective is to compare
methodologies used in
different contexts to study similar questions.
Its primary activities are international
and historical comparisons, and to explore
concepts and methods from different fields and
disciplines. To this end, the group organizes
international scientific workshops and
conferences, approximately every trimester. It
is also involved, in conjunction with INED’s
department of international relations and
partnerships, in providing scientific training
to foreign partners and formalizing
partnerships with institutions outside France.
