Journées portes ouvertes Ined

INED will be opening its doors to several school classes for the Fête de la Science science fair this Thursday and Friday, October 8 and 9. Primary, middle and high school students will have an opportunity to discover demography in playful workshops designed especially for them. What is demography? What is population science? Why study a population, and how is it done? INED researchers will be answering all these questions in connection with a single key topic—the family—and presenting a few basic math and statistics notions using concrete, readily understandable examples.
