The Family Kaleidoscope: Evolving Partnerships and Parenting
Call for papers before the 10th of November 2013.
The University of Antwerp organises a forum for academic reflection on societal issues and their ethical implications, on the topic of ‘The Family Kaleidoscope: Evolving Partnerships and Parenting’ ?
The organisation committee, composed of the Academic Director of
UCSIA, theologian Jacques Haers and project promoters,
sociologist Dimitri Mortelmans and psychologist Koen Ponnet of the
Centre for Longitudinal and Life Course Studies (CLLS) at the
University of Antwerp, sociologist Koenraad Matthijs and psychology
researcher An Katrien Sodermans of the Center for Sociological
Research (CeSO), Family and Population Studies (FaPOS), KU Leuven,
pedagogue Hans van Crombrugge of the Higher Institute for Family
Studies (HIG), HUBrussel and researcher in law, Elisabeth Alofs of
the faculty of law and criminology at the Free University of
Brussels, has established the programme.

The deadline for submission of applications is set for November
10th 2013. Candidates should send in the completed application
form, accompanied by an academic curriculum vitae and an outline of
the proposed paper. The selection of participants will be
communicated by mid December at the latest.
The organizer takes on charge all costs pertaining to participation
and stay in Antwerp of all selected participants, while travel
arrangements and costs are incumbent on participants
themselves.
